We grow beautiful Pink Ladies and so of course, we love to bake apple pies! If you haven’t tried baking with pink ladies I highly recommend it…they really do taste better in pies than Granny Smith.
Confession time… I use store bought crusts….shhh!
Recipe for apple pie filling:
5 or 6 (depending on size) organic pink lady apples (peeled and chopped or sliced) 1/2 cup organic light brown sugar 1.5 T cornstarch 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
Mix all together and pour into pie shells and top with a second crust.
Brush top with egg and sprinkle with raw sugar.
Bake @ 375 for 45 min.
